Title: Heat pump compressor noise
Post by: R Hamilton on May 29, 2001, 01:17:57 PM
Is there any material to place between the concrete pad and compressor to reduce noise? Will any of the sound reducing materials take exposure to the weather?
Compressor cannot be enclosed in a box. Thanks.

This probably not do much to reduce noise, you need a box, or at least a sound wall with 2 sides to block sound.  Use our foam on it.  If it's facing away from direct sunlight, it won't deteriorate as much and can be used outdoors.
