Title: Glass Wall w/Door as Soundproofs?
Post by: barryfys on August 05, 2009, 08:07:57 AM
I intent to install a Glass Wall with 2 fixed panel (7ft x 3ft ea)at each end and centre with 2 slides panels (7ft x 3ft ea) for my home theater room of about 4m x 4m floor area. Do you think this will isolate the sound alittle? The glass panel we intent to use is a 1/2" thick glass panel.

"a little" at best... when using glass you have to create a dead air space of 2" or greater with 2 panels of glass to see a decent reduction.
