Title: Eliminating creak when I walk on floors
Post by: bbbbbbb40 on April 25, 2014, 09:28:56 PM
A different question--I don't need to soundproof my floors, but I want to make them quieter so no squeak when I walk. Squeaky old wood. Do I need to take out the floor, subfloor, and put a concrete slab for subfloor and perhaps vinyl for flooring? Is that that best solution so I will not hear myself when walking?
Thanks!

you will need to re screw the floor/subfloor back down.
