Title: Soundproofing 5200' retail space with concrete floors
Post by: najo on May 14, 2014, 09:11:55 PM
So, we are a family owned business that is on a tight budget. We have 5200 sq ft space that currently has industrial carpet and we are looking at tearing the carpet out and polishing the concrete underneath. We are concerned about the noise levels increasing. The whole space is open. What options do we have for noise reduction on a tight budget?

You need to use absorbing panels on the walls and ceiling, minimum amount of coverage needed would be 30% of total surface area. Placement would be closest to the noise sources.
Feel free to contact me directly if you want exact numbers. If so I need the LxWxH of the room.
