Title: White noise frequencies
Post by: Steven on November 20, 2001, 03:05:21 PM
Hi, I'm trying to program a noise generator to reduce the amount of verbal noise in my workspace. Can anyone tell me the optimal frequency range to cancel human speech? Thanks in advance!

Human ear cannot hear above 20kHz, so cancelling everything below that should work, failing that start from top end of voice band channel (4kHz) and work up in 1k steps till you get the results you want.
