Title: Soundproofing 2 rooms that share a common wall
Post by: Electric Larry on February 21, 2002, 07:15:25 AM
Hello.  I recently rented a condo.  Two of the bedrooms are 'side by side' -- as in, they share a common wall.  I am using one of the bedrooms as an office, and the other  as a master bedroom.
Both the bedrooms have very high, vaulted ceilings.
Since I often work late at night,
I would like to do something to maximize the
soundproofing between the two bedrooms so
my wife can get a good night's sleep.
The catch is, I am only renting this condo, so any soundproofing work can't be permanent.  So I am wondering, is there anything I can "hang" on the walls that will help?  Any tips would be great!
Thanks.
