Title: RWR, or is dropped ceiling ok?
Post by: mr.x on January 03, 2003, 05:14:30 AM
Ideally a RWR (room within room) i s the way to go in a basement . However, since height restraints can affect a project, RWR might not be feasible.
so what about a drop ceiling, and walls? Is that close?
The height restriction is the biggest problem.  Of course, one could pile up MLV on the floor above, but the sound below radiates all over, so one can't really focus on a certain section above.
what would be a good alternate to RWR in a basement. Good plugs for windows, and good doors are already on the list.
