Title: How do I build a soundproof box for a soprano saxophone???
Post by: Hopkinson on February 02, 2003, 02:08:51 AM
I'd like to build a soundproof box for the purpose of playing a soprano saxophone inside this box, while reducing the noise of the soprano sax by upwards of 95 percent. It will need holes on the sides... just big enough for my hands to fit, and the soundproofing will need to dampen sound that can creep up to 100 decibels. The box will need to be about 30" in length, and 7" inches wide, 7" deep. Any suggestions as to how to go about constructing such a beast would be appreciated. Private emails would be best. Thanks very kindly!
