Post by: steve marriot on August 17, 2003, 11:55:46 PM
is it possible and practical (cost efficent) to construct a portable sound room. reason being is i dont want to build a permanent structure in my garage. i dont want to invest in a studio and not not be able to take it with me if i move to another residence. i have a design idea for one but i dont know if it will turn out to be very successful. do you have any suggestions to point me in the right direction?

thanks
steve

Steve,

You are on the right track as far as building a portable sound control booth in your garage. I would need to see plans for your booth, but for the most part it can be done and can be very portable. The Whisper Rooms are portable as are many other manufacturers sound control booths. It can be done, that's for sure. Take a look at the links below, I think they will help. Thanks for the post Steve.
