Post by: NATAS on September 02, 2007, 06:44:30 PM
All but one of the walls in my project are concrete. I am putting 2 layers of sheetrock and ultratouch blue on them.Should I mount resilient channels on the framing on the concrete? is it nessesary?
thanks,great site BTW.

First rule of soundproofing: put something between the source of the sound and the target.  If there is no target in that direction, sound control is not needed.
