Double Stud and Staggered Stud Walls

There seems to be quite a bit  of information on the internet regarding the construction of both these wall types but not much on some details which I assume are every bit as important. I have two questions which I hope your members could answer for me:

(1). The best way to fasten the bottom wall plate(s) to an existng concrete slab. Would you apply a layer of MLV between the plate(s) and the concrete ? and what sort of fasteners would you recommend - concrete screws or small bolts drilled and grouted in.

(2). The same question for the vertical end of such a wall where it abuts an existing
masonry below- grade basement wall.

Soundproof rooms tend to be very heavy in sqft. density, independent framing would require independent hard lid. This is where clips and channel come allows you to hard mount the structure than float the drywall off the channel and be able to achieve decoupling which is the greatest reduction value in any system.
MLV under the footer will do very little due to the fact the nails/bolts are still in the slab.

I've used several different methods to attach sill plates to concrete to reduce vibration transfer and I'm not sure any of them really work...

I'd recommend keeping it simple (and cheap) - use a foam 'sill-sealer' between the wood and concrete and fasten them with blue Tapcon screws (they come with a masonry bit).  You can get both from any home center.

Since it's not a load-bearing or shear wall, screws will do just fine.  It might be a good idea to use pressure-treated wood for the sill plates.  Also, remember to seal up the gaps between the plates and slabs.  The sill-sealer will not seal it completely.
