Soundproofing laundry room

I am currently re-doing a 2nd story laundry room.  I am going to replace vinyl/carpet with tile floor.  
I know that there are sound reducer mats available to install under the mortar bed/wonderboard.  I am concerned about this mat allowing the mortar bed and tile to move.
The instructions recommend this for this application. but I am concerned.
Ideas???
Also would like to have some type of sound proofing without removing drywall....

You are looking for "Mass Loaded Vinyl" a product that is 1/8" thick and weighs 1 Lb per sq ft.  More on this at the link below:
